Hoppy Easter!

Today wrapped up our 'easter season' and it was a good one! The older two girls understand the resurrection story yet still love the egg hunts, easter bunny, etc.
Evelyn still has not grasped the egg hunt thing but I know she will in time!

First Egg Hunt

While Evelyn was around last year for Easter, she was a bit too tiny to hunt eggs but today she sure did!  Our preschool had their annual egg hunt where she honestly just picked them up and threw them down then tried to take eggs out of others baskets but she still had fun!  She has two more hunts this weekend to improve!

Taylor Swift Concert

   
     For Christmas, Lucy got her very own ticket to the upcoming Taylor Swift concert!  She has been on a countdown since then and this past Friday was the big night!  Four of my friends and their daughters loaded up after school Friday afternoon and headed to Charlotte! Due to traffic, we had to go straight to dinner but that was just fine with me as we were eating at the yummy Cantina on East Blvd!  We had a delicious dinner then headed to the concert!  Lucy was SO excited!   Ed Sheeran was the opening act but Lucy was patiently waiting TS!  When she appeared on stage, Lucy's sheer excitement brought tears to my eyes! She was literally shaking with excitement!  As usual, Taylor Swift have an unbelievable show...she is crazy talented....dances, plays piano, guitar, banjo, really sings, acts, etc!  The tickets are always worth every penny! Lucy thanked me 8-0 times during the concert, right before bed and first thing the next morning!  I hope to take Alice back in September when she comes to Raleigh and Greensboro!

OTC Father Daughter Dance

This past weekend, the girls went to the year's second father/daughter dance at our country club.  Alice picked out her dress months ago....Lucy (who didn't need a new dress) saw this one and would not stop talking about it so she was thrilled when she found it laid out on her bed on Friday!

They had the best time and said their favorite dance was to Gangam style! ha!

Evelyn and I had our date night with her 102.5 fever accompanying us! ;-(
