Flower Girls

This past weekend, Lucy and Alice were in their babysitter's wedding.  Michelle is the daughter of our 4 yr old preschool teacher and has been babysitting for us for over four years I think!?!?!  It was a very busy weekend, but I think the girls thoroughly enjoyed their part in the wedding! We had a Thursday night dinner, bridesmaid luncheon Friday morning, then the rehearsal and dinner. Saturday we squeezed in a yard sale then had to be at Winmock for the wedding at 3.....needless to say, everyone was pooped last night!
Two memorable moments from the wedding.....halfway through the ceremony, Alice was very squirmy and then suddenly started holding 'herself' and mouthing ' I have to go potty'! AGH! I knew she could finish out the rest of the ceremony, so she quickly slipped out and in....smoothly! whew! (This was after she was picking her nose and her wedgy- agh!)

#2- both of the girls SOBBED for 30-45 minutes b/c Michelle was getting married and they were worried that Chris would come b/t them...ha! ;-)

All in all, it was a very fun wedding weekend!  The bride was STUNNING, the mother of the bride BEAUTIFUL, the weather PERFECT and love was all around! Enjoy the pictures!

Spring Break 2013

After Easter, I took the girls to North Myrtle Beach for a few days and met EA there......the weather went down hill day by day but we made the best of it!  I'm so over the chilly weather but I think spring is finally here to stay!  On Tuesday we did some shopping around and had a picnic at a great park/playground.  That evening, the girls had a photo shoot on the beach. Despite only a 15 minute nap that whole day- Evelyn was perfect!!!  It took her about 2 minutes to fall asleep on the way home and she went right to bed!  On Wednesday, it was chilly but we went to the Alligator Adventure at Barefoot Landing....I highly recommend it!  It is  like a mini-zoo in the middle of Myrtle Beach!  There were hundreds of crocodiles, tigers, snacks, monkeys, birds, etc! Evelyn was mesmerized!  It is a great 'bang for your buck' attraction!  We braved the beach Wednesday afternoon....Lucy and Alice were running around in bathing suits- EA, Evelyn and I were bundled up.....Evelyn is not too fond of the sand in between her toes.....so as long as she had on her shoes- she was 'a- okay'!  That night 'Da' came and took the older two to putt putt!

The older girls and I headed back on Thursday and left Evelyn with EA for a few days! When we got back to W-S, it was SNOWING?!!?!? in APRIL!?!??!
