Alice's views on the 'the fight'

Tonight while cleaning up the kitchen, the NBC news was on with Election Coverage.  Alice quickly piped up and here was our hilarious conversation:

Alice- 'mom, is the fight over yet?'
me- what fight? oh- the election?'
alice- yea...who won?
me- its not over yet...its in a few weeks

(a recent poll/ bar graph came on the screen)

alice- oh no, barack obama is winning
me- well no one is technically winning yet sweetie
alice- why do like mitt romney mommy?
me- well, your daddy and I agree on some of ideas and opinions.  kind of like your soccer coach.  we are voting on     someone who will be a good leader, but you can like whoever you want you know....
alice- ok, then- well I think I will vote for Barack Obama for a little while....
me- ok, why?
alice- well, i saw on tv where it said that mitt romney didn't care about health care and E.A (her grandmother) needs healthcare so Im gonna vote for obama......
me- ok alice

(she runs in the other room to tell Lucy where Lucy responds, 'Why? We need a new president."

She then proceeds to call both sets of grandparents and asks them who they are all voting for and in the end changed her mind back to Romney as I guess she felt like the minority! ha!

It shows you that kids really pay attention to these political commercials!
