Yesterday, sweet Evelyn turned 10 months! I will admit that I didn't realize it until today, but that's ok right?!!??!!? She is my 'boy' my pediatrician says...BUSY! She is standing for a few seconds, climbing everything, eating up a storm but the sleep is so so......hmmmm....we are gonna work on that! Maybe for Christmas, she will sleep all night!?!?!?
We put up the Christmas tree tonight and she was mesmerized by the christmas lights.....but then she was 'exiled' to bed when she threw three ornaments and broke them- ha!
The whole tree and presents thing should be interesting this holiday season....
For the past few years, numerous people have told me that I needed to write down all the cute and funny things my daughters said so here it goes! Happy Reading!

Nighthawk Nation
Last night, Josh and I went to a high school football game with my parents. Their best friends from college Jane and Johnny Roscoe coach (or he does) the Northern Guilford Nighthawks. For the third straight year, they are headed to the state championships....wow! They are 14 and 0 and won their game last night 44-0 and we had the best time watching them! Lucky for us, their championship game will be here in W-S at Wake's BB&T Field next saturday! Go Nighthawks!!

Gobble Gobble!!
As always, we have so much to be thankful for this year. We went around our dining room table today at lunch and said a few things we were thankful for. It started out serious then the girls got silly and carried away but their laughter is one thing I am thankful for. Although it was Evelyn's Thanksgiving, she had no clue and just chowed down in her highchair! After the Turkey Strut fun run/5K this morning, lunch was much needed! Afternoon naps followed by the playground and leftovers made for a wonderful holiday!
Side note story: I went to Alice's class the other day to help with her class' Thanksgiving feast and took the turkey. Each student was asked what t hey were thankful for and that lil' booger said 'Daddy' when it came to her---talk about me being chopped liver! ;-)

Festival of Trees Dancer
Like Lucy a few years ago, Alice danced with her ballet class yesterday at the Festival of Trees here in town. They wear holiday pajamas and dance with their teddy bear. It is always an adorable dance.....
