So, Josh and I 'threw' our last 'first birthday party' yesterday for sweet Evelyn. I had originally planned
on a small family gathering but Josh' reminded me that the other two girls had big shindigs so Evelyn deserved that too so we were on to planning! Because she has a winter birthday, only a few friends her age, etc we decided to have a 'cupcake' party at our country club! The cupcake decorating bar would give the older kids something to do and they could have lunch beforehand! The ice mother nature sent us Friday didn't slow us down and the birthday girl had a grand time! She would get very ill when we took her away from playing to take photographs.....she enjoyed her cupcake but when done with she promptly threw it on the floor and wall behind her (oops-girls got an arm!). Her actual birthday is Tuesday so we will officially celebrate then!
